POST Fellow

I recently undertook a three month research fellowship at the Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology (POST), supported by the AHRC, during which I researched and wrote two policy briefing papers on the effects of cognitive biases on aspects of the justice system.

This opportunity follows a proposal that I wrote based on my research, which was reviewed and accepted by the POST board in January 2015. The resulting papers are available to view here and here.

I wrote an account of my experience at POST, and the contribution that philosophers can make in the realm of science policy, on the Imperfect Cognitions blog.
