I am a researcher interested in implicit bias, erroneous thinking and decision making, and the dissemination of academic research to policy makers and the public. I am a research fellow in philosophy at the University of Birmingham working on the policy implications of mental health stigma, and a bias trainer for the Confronting Bias project at the University of Sheffield.

Previously, I was a research fellow for European Research Council funded project PERFECT at the University of Birmingham, fellow at the Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology, and director of the MAP UK project.

I received a PhD in Philosophy from King’s College London (supported by the Arts and Humanities Research Council) in the summer of 2016.
